Sales Collateral Design for Chargebee

Chargebee, one of the leading SaaS companies globally, had outsourced the design of sales-development collaterals to Friday Matinee Studio. Over three quarters, we worked on about 30+ collaterals that comprised of one-pagers, customer case studies, conversation starters and data sheets. This engagement involved the design of layouts and the creation of visual assets (like icons, illustrations and flow diagrams) within a shorter turnaround time.

I helped redesign the sales collaterals for better readability and better visibility of information to make it easier for the SDRs and their prospective clients to focus on while the collaterals are shared online during meetings. The resulting collaterals formed a structurally and visually cohesive set that aligned with their brand and their goal to target big corporations in EU, US and APAC markets.

01 Redesigned cover with improved readability against a cleaner background, a better hierarchy of elements and usage of the brand colours. Introduction of a tighter grid to anchor the title text and shorter line lengths to help the reader follow through easily.

Two-column grids, placement of larger icons and reorganisation of the content to make them accessible and readable. Shifting the importance from the testimonial to the CTA on the page for more conversion. Customer logos made prominent by placing them in colour and in a larger size.

 

Some layouts and treatments of inner pages

Alongside enhancing the look and feel of the sales collateral, I focused on trying to understand the subject matter or the working of their product to be able to create simplified illustrations that would complement the existing textual content. Sometimes, I faced the challenge of having to visualise content without understanding how the product works.
